Ascension Public Schools will construct three new primary schools and one new middle school by 2020. The Ascension Parish School Board Strategic Planning Committee selected the names for two of the new primary schools: Bluff Ridge Primary on Highway 73 and Sugar Mill Primary on Germany Road. They also selected options for mascots and colors and would like the community's input before making those final decisions.
Today, Supervisor of Early Childhood Mary McMahan presented an overview of Ascension Public Schools Early Childhood Program to the Ascension Parish School Board.
