USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES REGULATIONS

Regulations governing the use of school facilities shall be as follows:

            1.         School facilities shall be made available for Public Non-Profit functions only.

            2.         Organizations requesting use of facilities shall be categorized as follows:

                        A.        Governmental and non-profit

                        B.        Political (cooking of foods not allowed)

                        C.        Recreational

                                    1.         School related camps (baseball, football, basketball, etc.)

                                    2.         Organized Parish, City or Community recreational

                                    3.         Organized Parish, City, or Community recreational groups using facility over an extended period of time should use Form III.  (Note:  usually recreational requests from these groups are not a one-day activity.)

                                    4.         A $100.00 refundable deposit (providing there are no damages to facilities) shall be paid two weeks in advance to the activity.

                                    5.         All rental and clean-up charges are to be paid in full prior to the event.

RENTAL CHARGES

            I.          GOVERNMENTAL AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

                        a)         $100.00 deposit (refundable)

                        b)         $10.00 per hour supervision fee

                        c)         $10.00 per hour clean-up fee

                        d)         No rental fee

NOTE:            Except where programs or activities are held charging an admission fee.  In this case, a $50.00 rental fee is required.

               II.       POLITICAL

                        a)         $100.00 deposit (refundable)

                        b)         $10.00 per hour supervision fee

                        c)         $10.00 per hour clean-up fee

                        d)         $100.00 rental fee

               III.      RECREATION

                        a)         No deposit

                        b)         $10.00 per hour supervision fee (This can be waived.)

                        c)         $10.00 per hour clean-up fee (This can be waived.)

                        d)         No rental fee

                        e)         School related camps (baseball, basketball, football, etc., $50.00 per day not to exceed $250.00.)

               IV.     SOCIAL

                        a)         $100.00 deposit (refundable)

                        b)         $10.00 per hour supervision fee

                        c)         $10.00 per hour clean-up fee

                        d)         $100.00 rental fee

              V.      EDUCATIONAL

                        a)         Tutoring

                        b)         In-services

                        c)        The fee on the rental of school facilities for eligible non-public schools may be waived.

NOTE:  Use and fee to be approved by Superintendent.

NOTE:  All deposits are refundable provided there are no damages to facilities.

              No rental fee for scouts, 4-H'ers, etc.
