VOCATIONAL EDUCATION

The Ascension Parish School Board believes the basic objective of the school district shall be the preparation of individuals to function effectively in society.  Vocational instruction shall be designed to prepare individuals for entry-level employment in a specified occupational field, or for future education appropriate to the student's occupational objective.

All vocational programs shall be planned and administered within the school district in accordance with all requirements set by the Louisiana Department of Education.
