RESIGNATION
The Ascension Parish School Board shall require employees who wish to terminate their employment with the School Board to submit letters of resignation to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Board or its designee shall consider all letters of resignation. Approval of any resignation by the Board or its designee shall be required for a resignation to become effective.
Employees resigning from employment with the Board after the end of the school session shall do so as soon as possible. Resignations submitted after forty-five (45) days prior to the announced opening date of school shall not be approved, except under extreme conditions.
