The Flood of 2016 damaged six schools and multiple school district facilities. The following information will be updated periodically in order to keep the public informed about our recovery.

*Staff members at applicable sites are beginning to organize and pack classroom materials for the move into temporary buildings. We are in the process of scheduling fire marshall and board of health inspections. Move-in dates will be announced following the acquisition of occupancy permits at each site.

GALVEZ PRIMARY

Current School Locations

  • PreK – 2nd Grade Students at Lakeside Primary School
  • 3rd – 5th Grade Students at the Old RPCC Campus


Temporary Buildings on Home Campus

  • Site Plan
  • Structures: Administration Building, Library, Dining Hall, Classrooms (3 Pods of 10 Classrooms)
  • Work Complete: Modular Buildings Delivered and Installed, Installation of Classroom Technology (95% COMPLETE), Construction of Covered Walkways, Restoration of Flooded Kitchen
  • Work in Progress: Connection of Utilities, Delivery of Furniture (SCHEDULED FEB. 20-24) and Relocation of Teacher Materials
